KVUE is an ABC affiliated television station and licensed to Austin, Texas. Tegna, Inc. has owned the station. The Studios located on Steck Avenue just east of Loop 1 in northwest Austin. The station founded on 21 September 1971 and the first show aired 47 years ago on the same date. The call letter meaning of network is “KVUE pronounced K-View”. KENS is the sister channel of the station.

History
The station signed on the air on 12 September 1971 under the ownership of Tolbert Foster. At that time, Central Broadcasting Co. Of Center Texas was operating the channel. It made the market’s first full-time ABC affiliate network.
In 1978 Central Broadcasting sell out the station to Universal Communications, the broadcasting arm of the Detroit News. In 1986, Gannett Company purchased the station as part of the Detroit News. But the Gannett Company exchanged KVUE to Belo Corporation KXTV in Sacramento.
Gannett decided to acquire Belo on 30 June 2013 for $1.5 billion and that sale completed on 23 December. Due to Gannett ownership the channel reunited with its sister station first time in 14 years. It won Peabody Award in 2014 for a documentary entitled The Cost of Troubled Minds. On 29 June 2015The Gannett split into two sides one specializing in print media and another side in broadcast and digital media. The station retained a company named Tegna, Inc.

It is a crime and comedy-drama, follows a forty years old man who construct his own company and takes help from police during the bank robbery. After that, he moves to Los Angeles and pursues the career in Police Department of Los Angeles.
The Conners
It is a sitcom, follows a working-class family who struggles to get a best household income.
The Good Doctor
It is a medical drama, premises a young surgeon with Savant syndrome and autism in Casper where he had spent a troubled childhood.
