WWRS launched in 1997 is a TBN O&O service operating in Madison and Milwaukee. The studios of the Mayville licensed service are located on North Barker Road in Brookfield with transmitter facilities in Hubbard. Coverage area includes southeastern and south-central Wisconsin. National Minority Television was the previous owner of the channel. The division of a Trinity Broadcasting Network was employed to jump over FCC ownership restrictions. The service and other NTMV assets came under the direct control of Trinity Broadcasting Network in mid-2008. It like other TBN services airs national feed during the daytime. It also buys full-power channels to attain the must carry status on cable carriers however, it produces no local programs. Public affairs programs are hosted form Brookfield studios while the rest of the content is produced from Iron Ridge. The church services and evangelical content is aired on Friday mornings.
