KTBW was launched on March 30, 1984 as KQFB and was originally owned by Family Broadcasting located in University Place, Washington. It originally broadcasted Christian programming. Just before the launch of the KQFB, it was purchased by Trinity Broadcasting Network. After acquiring the interest in Family Broadcasting, the callsign was changed to KTBW on Dec 18, 1984. It underwent digital transition on April 16, 2009 and left the analog signal forever. TBN channel can be watched online for latest news and religious programming.
