KPDX is a MyNetwork affiliate broadcasting in Portland, Oregon and is owned by Meredith Corporation. Licensed to Vancouver, it the only major commercial service operating in Portland licensed to the other side of the market in Washington. Owned by Meredith Corporation, it shares duopoly with Fox affiliate KPTV. The studios of the channel are located on NW Greenbrier Parkway in Beaverton and transmitter is located in Sylvan-Highlands. Master control operations of the KPDX and its sister KPTV are managed from the studios of KPHO-TV based in Phoenix, Arizona. KUBN-LD operating in Bend, rebroadcasts KPDX. Fox 12 Plus is the branding of the channel adopted in Feb 2018.

History
KDPX went on air on Oct 9, 1983 as general entertainment independent channel airing classic movies, religious programs, cartoons, drama series and sitcoms. Columbia River Television was the owner of the service operating from Vancouver. The license of the channel was assigned against callsign: KLRK, however, the calls were changed to KPDX just before the launch. It only lagged KPTV bagging top ratings at that time. KPDX signed Fox affiliation on Aug 29, 1988. In 1989 it relocated its studios to NE Union Avenue in Portland and adopted branding Fox 49. Columbia River Television released their asset to Cannell Communications in 1992 and Cannell in turn sold KPDX and its sister to First Media Television in 1994.
It started adding talk and children programming in 1990s. Both WHNS and KPDX were bought by Meredith Corporation in 1997. It then became a UPN affiliate on Sep 2, 2002. KPDX on March 9, 2006 became a charter affiliate of MyNetworkTV launched just a month ago. The branding of the channel was rebranded from PDX-TV to Fox 12 Plus on Feb 12, 2018. Media General on Sep 8, 2008 announced to acquire Meredith and the deal was finalized in June 2016 but fell through when Nexstar on Jan 27, 2016 announced its purchase of Media General.
