Early History
KBCA went on air on June 1, 2005 as a WB affiliate under the ownership of Dimension Broadcasting. White Knight Broadcasting was allowed to operate the channel under Local Marketing Agreement; KCBA was put under the control of WNTZ management. The headquarters and studios of the station were shifted to Carencro, Louisiana. Upon the merger of UPN and The WB, it became a CW affiliate in September 2006. KBCA lost CW affiliation when Gray Television extended its contracts with the network on Dec 15, 2015.
