KLUJ-TV is a Harlingen, Texas based religious channel owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network. Established on Aug 1, 1983, the channel was launched on June 25, 1984 in Rio Grande Valley. The studios of the station locally available on digital channel 34 are located on Loop 499 in Harlingen. Community Educational Television is Rio Grande Valley’s first independent channel before signing with TBN in 1986. The analog transmitters associated with the channel ceased the operations on April 16, 2009.
