KQUP is a Daystar station broadcasting in Spokane, Washington and licensed to Pullman. The full-power service doesn’t have adequate signal to reach Spokane metro for which it uses LP satellite KQUP-LD. The channel established on March 8, 1994 was launched in 2003; it would link with UPN after KSKN dropped the affiliation in 2002 to sign up with The WB. On Jan 1, 2006 it dropped UPN affiliation and linked with Retro Television Network. A conflict between Equity Media Holdings Corporation and RTN would stop the RTN’s programming on RTN affiliates on Jan 4, 2009.
