KVCT launched on Oct 1, 1969 is a Fox affiliate broadcasting from Victoria, TX and is owned by SagamoreHill Broadcasting. Morgan Murphy Media manages the channel via LMA making it a sister to ABC affiliate KAVU and five other LP services. The siblings include KXTS-LD, KUNU, KVTX, KQZY and KMOL-LD. All the services are stationed at North Navarro Street in Victoria with a transmitter facility located on Farm to Marked Road 236 west of the city.

History
KVCT went on air as KXIX in the fall of 1969 as an ABC affiliate. Originally a satellite of Corpus Christi-based KIII, the channel 1976 was sold to local ownership and became a standalone service. The calls were changed to KVCT in 1984. However, financial issues prompted the owners to drop ABC affiliation and dissolving its news operation in 1990 when it adopted a religious format as a TBN affiliate. It signed an LMA with KAVU-TV to become a Fox affiliate in 1994. Before that Fox was available via either KRIV or KRRT in Houston and San Antonio respectively. KAVU would also for a select period produce news-bulletins for the channel. However, local news dropped from the television from 1998 to 2002.
Saga Communications acquired the service in 2002. Morgan Murphy Media on May 10, 2017 announced the purchase of Saga Communications including KAVU; the deal consummated on Sep 1, 2017 and the license assets of the channel 19 were shifted under SagamoreHill Broadcasting.
