WDTI established on June 8, 1988 is a Daystar O&O channel licensed to Indianapolis, IN. Owned by Indianapolis Community Television, Inc., a division of Word of God Fellowship. The studios of the channel are located on Crawfordsville Road in northwestern Indianapolis with its transmitter installed on Walnut Drive. WIPX-LD is operated separately in Indianapolis at ch 51. Charter Spectrum, AT&T U-verse and Comcast Xfinity are the cable carriers of the television.

History

Launched on June 6, 1988, WBUU served as an educational independent service at it onset. Butler University was the owner of the station and changed its call letters to WTBU in 1991. WTBU became the fourth PBS member service in 1992. It along with WFYI carried most of Public Broadcasting Service programs in the market. The channel was bought by Indianapolis Community Television, Inc. in 2004. The arm of Daystar Television Network still owns the station. It moved from analog to digital signal on UHF Ch 69 on Nov 10, 2008.
