History
In the beginning, The Mohawk Hudson Council on Educational Television was established in 1953 with the support of WRGB Channel. After that, the council decided to form a non-commercial educational television station due to the tight schedule. WMHT was affiliated with National Educational Television (NET) when signed first air show streaming in 1962. WMHT made secondary programming service WMHX by purchasing an independent channel WUSV. But After expanding digital programming, WMHT became one of the most famous New York’s stations.
